Hello, I’m Brenda! I support women seeking a closer connection with God and clarity in their convictions, which can fuel the courage needed for healthy change.

I feel called to listen, encourage and support women as they navigate life, relationships, and faith. By God’s grace, I’ve grown tremendously through my own heartaches, joys and challenges - and I'm still learning. I aim to come gently alongside you with understanding and empathy.

I am passionate to journey with others through God’s Word, to pray together and to build one another up in life and faith. I’ve had the privilege of coaching, leading Bible studies, and speaking at women’s events through which I’ve met many remarkable women struggling with complex issues such as pornography, betrayal, loss, broken relationships and more. I’ve also been blessed to witness and personally experience the hope and eventual healing that is possible on the other side.

Coaching with me will be a partnership through which we can discover/rediscover your dreams, tackle your goals, and/or break big problems into manageable steps that allow you to not only survive, but eventually thrive with fresh hope, clarity, and healing.

Through homeschooling our daughters from kindergarten to graduation and our son - still in progress – I’ve become passionate about learning, teaching, and becoming equipped for the purposes God has for each of us. As a Classical Conversations Director for 8 years, I was blessed to nurture and empower dozens of families and kids from elementary age into high school. For 5 years, I was privileged to serve as the main speaker at Classical Conversations' three-day homeschool conferences.

Through many of these experiences, I often felt ill-equipped or downright scared. God demonstrated His faithfulness again and again. He frequently teaches me with visual pictures and He reminded me of when my girls were little and they loved to stand on my feet, lean back on me, hold my hands and when I walked – they walked. God reminded me that if I lived and served this way – leaning on Him – I’d be ok because He’d be with me every step of the way. I came to rely on His strength in my weaknesses. His mercies truly are new every morning, or every five minutes!

I find joy in family life with my grown daughters, our 8 year-old spitfire son and serving as a caregiver for my dear elderly parents. I dabble in writing blogs, Bible studies and children’s books. I’m a native of Edmonds, WA and I currently live in Lynnwood, WA – often surrounded by our family’s “clutter” of rescue kitties.

I would count it a privilege to come alongside you on your journey as you explore, heal, bloom and embrace your goals in life, faith and relationships.
